A RESOLUTION ANNEXING TO THE GREATER
BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION OF GRADE DISTRICT
THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIG-
NATED AS "PANORAMIC HEIGHTS NO. 4" NOT
ALREADY INCLUDED WITHIN SAID DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield did, on
the 4th day of March, 1974, pass its Resolution Iof Intention
No. 18-74, to include within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of
Grade District that portion of certain territory designated as
"Panoramic Heights No. 4" not already included withinsaid District,
and did set the time and place for hearing objections to the
inclusion of said territory within said District; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly and legally
published once a week for two weeks, the first publication thereof
being at least twenty days prior to the date of the hearing as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, Monday, the 15th day of April, 1974, at the
hour of 8 P. M., was set as the time for hearing objections to the
inclusion of said territory within said District; and
WHEREAS, no objection has been filed or presented to
said Council to the inclusion of said territory or any part thereof
within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, and
the Council further finds that all of said territory will be
benefited by its inclusion within said District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND THE COUNCIL DOES
.HEREBY FIND:
That no objection to the inclusion of said territory or
any part thereof within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade
District, has been filed or presented to this CounCil.
That said territory and every part thereof be, and the
same is hereby annexed to and included within the said Greater
Bakersfield Separation of Grade District upon completion of annexa-
tion of said territory to the City of Bakersfield, which said
territory is described as follows:
A parcel of land situate in the County of Kern, State of California
and being a portion of the southwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of Section 10, Township 29 South, Range 28 East and being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the north line of the said south-
west quarter of said southeast quarter and the west line of the
east 5-50 feet of last-named southwest quarter of said southeast
quarter, said point of intersection being in the Corporate Boundary
of'the City of Bakersfield;
Thence (1) southerly, and along the various courses of said
Corporate Boundary, to intersect the northwest corner of the
southwest quarter of said southeast quarter;
Thence (2) easterly, along the north line of the southwest quarter
of said southeast quarter, 770 feet more or less, to the point of
beginning.
Containing 18.94 acres of land, more or less.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of April, 1974, by
the following vote:
