"18-74"' RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO INCLUDE WITHIN THE GREATER BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION OF GRADE DISTRICT, TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "PANORAMIC HEIGHTS NO. 4," AND SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJEC- TIONS TO THE INCLUSION OF SAID TERRITORY WITHIN SAID DISTRICT. WHEREAS, proceedings have been commenced for the annexa- tion of certain unincorporated territory, designated as "Panoramic Heights No. 4," to the City of Bakersfield; and WHEREAS, all of said territory lies outside the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District; and WHEREAS, Section 8290 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, provides that the unincorporated territory of a county which was not included within a separation of grade district at the time of the formation of such district, and which subsequent to the formation of such district is annexed to or otherwise included within a city which is a part of such district, shall immediately upon such annexation to such city be included within the district and shall thereafter become a part of the district to the same extent as such city; except such portion or portions thereof which the City Council has determined, will not be benefited by inclusion in the district. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, as follows: '1. That a description of the unincorporated territory described in the annexation proceedings, is as follows: A parcel of land situate in the County of Kern, State of California, and being a portion of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section'-10, Township 29 South, Range 28 East and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the north line of the said south- west quarter of said southeast quarter and the west line of the east 550 feet of last-named southwest quarter of said southeast quarter, said point of intersection being in the Corporate Boundary of the City of Bakersfield; Thence (1) southerly, and along the various courses'of said Cor- porate Boundary, to intersect the northWest corner of the south- west quarter of said southeast quarter; Thence (2) easterly, along the north line of the southwest quarter of said southeast quarter, 770 feet more or less, to the point of beginning. Containing 18.94 acres of land, more or less. 2. That unless any portion shall be excluded by the City Council, all portions of said unincorporated territory shall, upon annexation to the City of Bakersfield, be included within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District. 3. That Monday, the 15'th day of April, 1974, at_~the hour of 8 P.
