O0 RESOLUTION NO. 101-73 RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF "K" STREET BETWEEN 21ST AND 22ND STREETS AND THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 192, CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. '#30~20 CO01 ROI WHEREAS, on the 29th day of October, 1973, the Council of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941," being Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, passed and adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 893, declaring its intention to order the vacation of "K" Street between 21st and 22nd Streets and the alley in Block 192, City of Bakersfie.ld, California; and WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing all persons interested in o7 objecting to said proposed vacation, which said hearing was held on the 26th day of November, 1973, after notices were duly posted as required by law; and WHEREAS, this Council after duly considering the matter, does hereby find and resolve as follows: 1. That that portion of "K" Street between 21st and 22nd ....... Streets-and-the a~ley-i-n--B-loc-k--19-2-r_s-i_t-ua=t_e~:i_n_the_City of Bak~.rsfield, County of Kern, State of California, being portions of Section 30, Township 29 South, Range 28 East, M.D.B.& M., more particularly described as follows, are unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes: PARCEL 1: All that portion of "K" Street of 82.5 feet in width between Block 192 and Block 193 and between the north right-of-way line of 21st Street and the south right-of-way line of 22nd Street as said street and block are shown on the Official Map of the City of Bakersfield, filed on the 25th day of November, 1898 in the records of the County Recorder's Office.of the County of Kern. PARCEL 2: Reserving all of the above-described parcel, except the west 20 feet of t~e north 1/2, for public utilities easement purposes. Containing 0.50 acre, more' or less. All of the alley, of 16 feet in width, in Block 192, as said alley and block are shown on the Official Map of the City of Bakersfield, filed on the 25th day of November, 1898 in the-recor~s-- of the County Recorder's Office of the County of Kern. Reserving all of the above-described parcel for public utilities easement purposes. Containing 0.10 acre, more or less. 2. That said portion of "K" Street between 21st and 22nd Streets and the alley in Block 192 be, and the same are, hereby closed up, vacated and abandoned for public street purposes, effec- tive January 1, 1974, subject to and in conformity with said Resolution of Intention No. 893. Reference to said Resolution of Intention is hereby made for further particulars. -. 3.
