94-73
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF
PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, ESTIMATES OF COST,
DISTRICT MAP, AND DIAGRAM IN THE MATTER
OF THE PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 894.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield
found and determined that the filed petition requ~sting the
improvement work hereinafter described, was signed by the owners
of over sixty per cent (60%) in area of the property subject to
the assessment for the proposed work and construction, as evidenced
by Resolution No. 93-73, adopted by said Council on the 12th day
of November, 1973; and
WHEREAS, said City Council proposes to adopt its
Resolution of Intention expressing its intention to undertake
proceedings under the Improvement Act of 1911, for the construction
of said improvements as requested in the petition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that the City Engineer (Superintendent of
Streets) of said City be and he is hereby ordered to prepare the
estimates of costs, map and diagram of the district to be bene-
fited, and the plans and specifications for the following improve-
ment work and construction to be done in the City of Bakersfield,
to wit:
The construction of curbs, gutters,
sidewalk, driveway approaches and
alley returns adjacent to Lots 13
through 34 and Lots 49 through 66
of Tract No. 1320, and Blocks T and
U of Sunset Tract.
All of the above improvement work and construction shall
be of the size and dimension, and. will be done-. in the manner and

places and to the grade shown and indicated on the plans and
specifications hereafter to be approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Bakersfield.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 12th day of November, 1973.
