A RESOLUT.ION OF THE 'COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD MAKING FINDING CONCERNING
PROPOSED SUBDIVISION: TENTATIVE MAP OF
TRACT NO. 3690 LOCA. TED NORTH OF WILSON
ROAD AND WEST OF NEW STINE ROAD.
WHEREAS, Section 11526 (c) of the Business and Professions
Code (Subdivision Map Act) states that a city shall not approve a
tentative or final subdivision map unless the City Council of such
city shall find that the proposed subdivision, together with the
provisions for its design and improvements, is consistent with the
general plan and applicable specific plans of the city; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission, on September 5 ,
19 73, did make the finding required by the above sta.tute and recom-
mended that the City Council make such finding; and
WHEREAS, the Ci.ty Planning Commission, on September 5 ,
'19 78 approved the tentative map of Tract No. 3690 conditioned
on the making of the appropriate· finding by the City Council under
said Section 11526 (c); and
WHEREAS, a'copy of said tentative map, together with the
PIanning staff report and other ~elated papers and documents have
been filed with this City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
1. It is hereby found and determined that the proposed
subdivision designated Tract No. 3690 , together with the pro-
visions for its desi~ and improvement, is consis'tent with the
general plan and applicable specific plans of the City of Bakersfield.
2. That a copy of this ResoI:Ution be forthwith tran~itted
to the Planning Department by the City Clerk.
SECTION 2.
This resolution shall become effective thirty days from
and after the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the llth day of September , 19 73, by
the following vote:

At a regular meeting held September 5, 1973 the Planning Commission considered
TentatLve Tract No. 3690, After review and deliberation, it was moved by Commissioner
Joe Davis, seconded by Commissioner Jim Frederickson, and carried, that Tentative Tract
No. 3690, together with provisions for its design and improvement, is consistent with
applicable general and specific plans and recommended that said' map be approved as sub-
mitted and on file, subject to the Following conditions as set forth:
1)
Water supply to be provided to the satisfaction of the Fine Chief of the
City Fire Department, and fire hydrant locations as shown in RED.
2) Easemen~:s to be provided to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. ,
· 3) 'Drainage to be provided to the satisfaction of the City Engineer.
4)
Soils report with m[nimuna data in accordance with Ordinance 1613 N. S.,
(Res. 38-66).
5)
No building permit on any lot within the tract shall be issued or be
valid until the final soil report for this tract has been filed with the
Building Director and the City Engineer and cent[fled by the Engineer
on the final recorded map, Where the final soil report has not been
completed until aftten the recording of the final map, a separate certificate
signed. and issued by the City Engineer must be recorded with the County
Recorder of Kern County before a building permit may be issued.
Provisions to be made for adequate fine protection to the satisfaction of
the Chief Engineer of the City Fire Department.
7)
Curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveway and paving to be constructed to City
standards.
8) Street lighting to be installed as shown in RED on plot plan.
9) Dedication of vehicular access from Lots 8 - 19 from Wilson Road.
10)
A six (6) Foot masonry wall to be constructed along the rear of Lots 8 - 19
along Wilson Road, as these are double frontage lots.
