A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF A COPY
OF NOTICE OF INTENT TO CIRCULATE PETITION
AND APPROVING CIRCULATION OF PETITION FOR
"TERRACE WAY NO. 2" ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, on thelOth d~y of August, 1973, there was filed
with the City Clerk of the City of Bakersfield a copy of Notice of
Intent to Circulate Petition pertaining to territory designated as
"Terrace Way No. 2," including statement containing reasons for the
petition, together with an affidavit of publication of the notice.
WHEREAS, Section 35113 of the Government Code provides
that the City Council may adopt a Resolution acknowledging Receipt
and Approving Circulation of Petition within 15 days after the
filing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council acknowledges receipt of the notice
(including statement) and affidavit.
2. The City Council approves the circulation of a
petition for annexation of that territory designated as "Terrace
Way No. 2" annexation.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 13th day of August, 1973, by the follow-
ing vote:
