RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS,
ESTIMATES OF COST, DISTRICT MAP AND DIAGRAM
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF REQUIRED CURB AND GUTTER,
CROSS GUTTERS, SIDEWALK, DRIVEWAY APPROACHES
AND NECESSARY DRAINAGE FACILITIES AND ALL
NECESSARY EARTHWORK IN PROPOSED PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 889.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield,
California, in compliance with the order of Resolution No. 21-73
of the City Council (adopted on.March 26, 1973), has submitted to
said City Council the estimates of the cost of, a map of the
district to be benefitted b~ and the plans and specifications
for the improvement work and construction hereinafter described;
and
WHEREAS, after due consideration thereof, the City
Council desires at this time to approve and adopt such plans
and specifications, cost estimates, map and diagram of the
district to be benefitted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that the plans'and specifications, estimates
of the cost, district map and diagram of the district to be
benefitted and assessed to pay the cost hereof, as the same were
prepared by the City Engineer of said City, and submitted and
filed with the City Clerk of the City of Bakersfield on the
10th day of August , 1973, be and the same are hereby
approved and adopted for the following improvement work and
construction to be done in the City of Bakersfield, to wit:

gutters, sidewalk,drivewayapproadhes and necessary
drainage facilities and all necessary earthwork for
said construction along Cherry Street and Dracena
Street, between Pine Street and Beech Street; and
along a portion of Beech Street, Myrtle Street and
Pine Street between Palm Street and Chester Lane.
That the plans and specifications, careful estimates,
district map and diagram for said work are delineated and en-
titled: "For Public Improvement District No. 889."

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 13th day of
August , 1973, by the following vote:
