A RESOLUTION ANNEXING TO THE GREATER
BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION OF GRADE DISTRICT
THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIG-
NATED AS "PACHECO NO. 6" NOT ALREADY
INCLUDED WITHIN SAID DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield did, on
the 4th day of June, 1973, pass its Resolution of Intention No. 37-73,
to include within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District
that portion of certain territory designated as "Pacheco No. 6" not
already included within said District,' and 'did set the time and
place for hearing objections to the inclusion of said territory
within said District; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly and legally
published once a week for two weeks, the first publication thereof
being at least twenty days prior to the date of the hearing as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, Monday, the 23rd day of July, 1973, at the hour
of 8 P. M., was set as the time for hearing objections to the inclusion
of said territory within said District; and
WHEREAS, no objection has been filed or presented to said
Council to the inclusion of said territory or any part thereof
within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, and
the Council further finds that all of said territory will be bene-
fited by its inclusion within said District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND THE COUNCIL DOES
HEREBY FIND:
That no objection to the incl.usion of said territory or
any part thereof within the Greater Bakersfield Se.p, aration of G,r.a..d.~e
District, has been filed or presented to this Council.
That said territory and every part thereof be, and the
same is hereby annexed to and included within the said Greater
Bakersfield Separation of Grade District upon completion of annexa-
tion of said territory to the City of Bakersfield, which said terri-
tory is described as follows:
The Northeast one-quarter (NE~) of the Southwest one-quarter (SW~)
of the Southeast one-quarter (SE~) and the west 40 feet of the
Northwest one-quarter (NW~) of the Southeast one-quarter (SE~) of
the Southeast one-quarter (SE~) all in Section 18, Township 30
South, Range 28 East, M.D.B.& M., situate in the County of Kern,
State of California.
Containing 10.61 acres, more or less.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 23rd day of July, 1973, by the following
vote:
