'5'9~73 "' A RESOLUTION ANNEXING TO THE GREATER BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION OF GRADE DISTRICT THAT PORTION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "PACHECO NO. 5" NOT ALREADY INCLUDED WITHIN SAID DISTRICT. WHERY_~S, the Council of the City of Bakersfield did, on the 4th day of June, 1973, pass its Resolution of Intention No. 35-73, to include within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District that portion of certain territory designated as "Pacheco No. 5" not already included within said District, and did set the time and place for hearing objections to the inclusion of said territory within said District; and WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly and legally published once a week for two weeks, the first publication thereof being at least twenty days prior to the date of the hearing as \ provided by law; and WHEREAS, Monday, the 23rd day of July, 1973, at the hour of 8 P. M., was set as the time for hearingsobjections to the inclusion of said territory within said District; and WHEREAS, no objection has been filed or presented to said Council to the inclusion of said territory or any part thereof within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, and the Council further finds that all of said territory will be bene- fired by its inclusion within said District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND THE COUNCIL DOES HEREBY FIND: That no objection to the inclusion of said territory or any part_thereof within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, has been filed or presented to this Council. That said territory and every part thereof be, and the same is hereby annexed to and included within the said Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District upon completion of annexa- tion of said territory to the City of Bakersfield, which said terri- tory is described as follows: A parcel of land situate in the County of Kern, State of California and being a portion of the Section 18, Township 30 South, Range 28 East, M.D.B.& M., more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the east line of the W 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of said Section 18 with the south line of the north 55 feet of the SE 1/4 of said Section 18 said intersection being the northwest corner of Lot 1, Tract No. 2270, as said lot is shown on a map recorded in Book 10 of Maps, at page 168, records of said County, and being also a point on the Corporate Boundary of the City of Bakersfield; Thence (1) departin~ from said Corporate Boundary and as per said Tract No. 2270, S 0 01'09"E along the last named east line, 410.00 feet, to a point on the north line of Tract No. 2397 as said Tract No. 2397 is shown on a map recorded in Book 11 of Maps, at page 185, Records of said County; Thence (2) as per said Tract No. 2397, S 89°58'51'~, 42.00 feet; Thence (3) S 0°01'09"E, 746.75 feet; Thence (4) N 89°58'51"E, 24.00 feet; Thence (5) S 0°01'09"E, 109.94 feet, to the southwest corner of Lot 14, said Tract No. 2397, said corner also being a point on the Corporate Boundary of the City of Bakersfield; Thence (6) westerly and along the various courses of said Corporate Boundary to the point of beginning, containing 18.69 acres~' more or less. o0o I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting thereof held on the 23rd day of July, 1973, by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN BLEECKER, HEISEY, MEDDERS, ROGr=RS, STRONG, THOMAS, WHITTEMORE NOES: COUNCILMr=N: ~ , ,ssr=NT COU , O V N: Council of the City of Bakersfield APPROVED-this 23r day of July, 1973 ~~e,~~cBakers fie ldf APPROVED as to form: CITY ATTORNEY g~ ~of Bakersfiel~
