A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT
OF A DRAINAGE EASEMENT IN THE NE~4 OF
SECTION 10, T.30 S., Ro27 E., IN THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of April, 1973, the Council of
the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Public
Service Easements Vacation Law," being Sections 50430 to 50445,
inclusive, of the Government Code of'!the'St~te of California passed
and' adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 890 declaring its
intention to order the abandonment of a drainage easement in the
NE~ of Section !0, T.30 S., R.27 E., situate in the City of
Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed abandonment
which hearing was held on the 14th day of May, 1973, after Notices
were duly published and posted as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED AND
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield, State of
California, as follows:
1. That said drainage easement, hereinafter described,
is unnecessary for present or prospective public use. Said ease-
ment,J situate in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of
California, is described as follows:
The north 250 feet of the west 250 feet of the
south 660 feet of the east 660 feet of the north-
east quarter of Section 10, T.30 S., R.27 E.,
M.D.B.& M. together with a drainage channel from
Tract No. 2942 as recorded in Book 3951, at page
51, Official Records of Kern County.
2. That said drainage easement be and the same is
hereby abandoned, subject to and in conformity with said Resolution
of Intention No. 890. Reference' to said Resolution of Intention is
hereby made for further particulars.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution, and shall cause a certified copy thereof, attested by
the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of Kern County, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 14th day of May, 1973, by the following
vote:
