A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENTS
OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD UPON WHICH DANGEROUS
BUILDINGS HAVE BEEN DEMOLISHED AND REMOVED.
WHEREAS, the following properties were determined to have
violated Chapter 3 of the Dangerous Building Code, Volume IV of
the Uniform Building Code; and
WHEREAS, notices and orders of Justus A. Olsson, Building
Director of the City of Bakersfield, as provided for in Chapter 4
of the Dangerous Building Code, Volume IV of the Uniform Building
Code, were mailed to the record owner of the aforementioned
property; and
WHEREAS, the buildings in question are duly posted.as
provided in Chapter 4 of the Dangerous Building Code, Volume IV
of the Uniform Building Code; and
WHEREAS, the demolition of the buildings was paid out of
the Repair and Demolition Fund as provided for by Chapter 8 of the
Dangerous Building Code, Volume IV of the Uniform Building Code;
and
WHEREAS, this assessment proceeding was duly noticed and
a hearing held March 5, 1973, in the Council Chambers of the City
of Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Bakersfield confirms the assessment of the property
listed in Exhibit '~" attached hereto and incorporated by this
reference herein and directs that the listed amounts be recorded
upon the assessment roll thereby constituting a lien against the
properties.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolhtion was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 5th day of March, 1973, by the following
vote:
