HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 11-73RESOLUTION NO. 11-73 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD MAKING FINDING CONCERN- ING PROPOSED SUBDIVISION TRA,CT NO. 3663, LOCATED WEST OF STINE ROAD~ NORTH OF FRASER ROAD~ SOUTH OF TRACTS 3624 AND 3494. WHEREAS, Section 11526 (c) of the Business and Ppofessions Code (Subdi- vision Map Act) states that a city shaft not appr,ove a tentative or, final subdivision map unless the City Council of such city shall find that the ppoposed subdivtsionp together` with the pPovtsions for` its design and impr,ovements~ is consistent with the gener-at plan and applicable specific plans of the city; and WHEREASp the City Planning Commissionp on FebPuar,y 7p 1973p did make the finding r,equiPed by the above statute and r,ecommended that the City Council make such finding; and WHEREASp the City Planning Commissionp on Febr,uaPy 7p 1973~ appr,oved the tentative map of Tract No. 3663 conditioned on the making of the appPopr,iate finding by the City Council under` said Section .11526 (c); and WHEREASp a copy of said tentative mapp together' with the Planning staff Pepor,t and other` r,elated paper,s and documents have been filed with this City Council. NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Baker`s- ftetd~ as follows: 1. After review and delibePation~ it.was moved by Commissioner Vetter , seconc, ed by Commissioner Thomas- and carried, that Tentative Map of Tract No. 3663, together with provisions For its design and improvement, is cons.istent with applicable general and specific plans and recommen- ded that said map be appPoved as subminced and on file subject to the following conditions as set forth: 1) Water supply be provided to the satisfaction of the Chief Engineer of the City Fire Department, and fire hydrant locations as shown tn Red, 2) 3) Easements be provided to the satisfaction of the City Engineer, Drainage be provided to the satisfaction of the City Engineer, 4) 5) Soils report with minimum data in accordance with Ordinance 1613 N.S.(Res. 38- No building permit on any lot within the tract shall be issued or be vat id until the final soil report for this tract has been filed' with the Chief Building inspector and the City Engineer and certified by the Engineer on the final recorded map. Where the final soil report has not been completed until after the recording of the final map, a separate certificate s[gned and issued by the City Engir~eer must be re- corded with the County Recorder of Kern County before a building permit may be issued, 6) Provisions be made for adequate fire protection to the satisfaction of the Chief Engineer of the City Fire Department, 8) Access to subdivi.sion required by separate dediction and improvement.
