A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD MAKING FINDING CONCERNING
PROPOSED SUBDIVISION: TENTATIVE MAP OF
TRACT NO. 8656 LOCATED SOUTH OF PLANZ
ROAD ON THE WEST SIDE OF AKERS ROAD.
WHEREAS, Section 115P6 (c) of the BuSiness and PPofessions Code (Subdi-
vision Map Act) states that a city shall not appPove a tentative oP final subdivision
map unless the City OounciI of such city shall find that the pPoposed subdivision, to-
getheP with the pPovtsions fop its design and impPovements, is consistent with the
genePal pIan and applicabIe specific plans of the city; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission, on Januar-y 8, 1978 did make the
finding Pequi Ped by the above statute and Pecommended that the City Council make
such finding; arid
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission, on Januapy 8, 1978 apppoved the
tentative map of TPact No. 8656 conditioned on the making of the appPopPiate find-
ing by the City Council under' said Section 11526 (c); and
WHEREAS, a copy of said tentative map, togetheP with the PIanning staff
PepoPt and other' PeIated paper's and documents have been fiIed with this City
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CounciI of the City of Baker's-
field, as follows:
1. It is her'eby found and detePmined that the pPoposed subdivision
designated Tpact No. 3656, together' with the ppovtsions fop its design and tmpPove-
ment, is consistent with the genepal plan and applicable specific plans of the City of
Baker's field.
That a copy of this Resolution be fopthwith tpansmttted to the Plan-
nin9 Depar'tment by the City Clepk.
SECTION 2.
This pesotutton shalt become effective thirty days fPom and aftep the date
of its passage,
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of January, 1973, by
the following'vote:

RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD -
RESOLUTION AND CERTIFICATE OF FIND-
INGS OF FACT IN REGARD TO TENTATIVE
MAP OF TRACT NO. 3656~ LOCATED SOUTH
OF PLANZ ROAD ON THE WEST SIDE OF
AKERS ROAD.
WHEREAS, SIMONSEN-LE MONS DEVELOPMENT COMPANY filed a
Tentative Map of Tract No. 3656, located south of Ptanz Road on the west side of
Aki~rs :Road;
and
WHEREAS, Section 11526 (c) of the Business and Professions Code (Sub-
division Map Act) states that a city shall not approve a tentative or final subdi-
vision map untess the City Council of such city-shaft find that the proposed subdi-
vision, together with the provisions for its design and improvements, is consistent
with the general plan and applicable specific plans of the city;
and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission on January.3, 1973 approved
the Tentative Map of Tract No. 3656, condit[oned on the making of the appropriate
finding by the City Council under said Section 11526 (c);
and
Dated: January 3, 1973
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission on January 3, 1973 did make
the finding required by.the above statute and recommended that the City Council
make such finding.
NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD that said Tentative Map of Tract No. 8656 be
approved on condition that the City Council make its appropriate finding.
