90-72
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSF IELD ORDERING THE ABANDONMENT OF
FLOWAGE EASEMENTS IN THE SE\ OF SEC. 33,
T.29 S., R.27 E., IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of November, 1972, the Council
of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the
"Public Service Easements Vacation Law,lI being Sections 50430 to
50445, inclusive, of the Government Code of the State of California,

passed and adopted- --i-t-s Resolution of Intention No. 883 dec laring its
intention to order the abandonment of Flowage Easements in the SE\
of Section 33, T.29 S., R.27 E., situate in the City of Bakersfield,
County of Kern, State 'of California; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed abandonment
which hearing was held on _the 18th day of December, 1972, after
Notices were duly published and posted as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED AND RESOLVED
by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield, State of California,
as follows:
1. That said flowage easements, hereinafter described,
are unnecessary for present or prospective public use. Said easement~,
situate in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California,
are described as follows:
PARCEL 1
Being that parcel of land described in that certain Flowage Easement
to the County of Kern recorded April 16, 1968, in Book 4150, Page
882 of Kern County Official Records.
Beginning at a point on the east line of said Section 33, distant
thereon N Oo.36'1911E, 1406.61 feet from the southeast corner of said
Section 33; thence continuing N 00. 36' 19"E, 36.00 feet; thence N
890.02'5l'W, 740.29 feet to the east line of that parcel of land
described in that certain Flowage Easement to the County of Kern
recorded April 7, 1967 in Book 4041, page 727 of Kern County

Official Records; thence S 350.06'09'W, along last said east line 43.50
feet; thence S 89Q.02'5lllE, 764.93 feet to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2
Being a portion of that parcel of land described in that certain
Flowage Easement to the County of Kern recorded April 7, 1967 in Book
4041, page 725 of Kern County Official Records;
Be?inning at the southeast corner of said Section 33, thence N 00.
36 19"E, 782.23 feet to a point on the east line of said Section,
said point being the True Point of Beginning; thence N 890.l0'18'W,
935.81 feet to point"B" as described in that certain Flowage Ease-
ment to the County of Kern recorded April 7, 1967 in Book 4041, Page
727 of Kern County Official Records, thence N l5Q.39'54"E, 37.24 feet
to point lIA" as described in said Flowage Easement, thence S 890.10'
l8"E, 926.13 feet to a point on the east line of said Section 33;
thence S 00.36'19'W, 36.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
PARCEL 3
Being that parcel of land described in that certain Flowage Easement
to the County of Kern recorded April 7, 1967 in Book 4041, page 727
of Kern County Official Records;
Beginning at a point on the east line of said Section 33, distant
thereon N OQ36'19"E, 2140.53 feet from the southeast corner of said
Section 33; thence S 84Q20'19'W, 135.92 feet to the True Point of
Beginning; thence S 48038' l6'W 251.82 feet; thence S 40Q 21' 45''w
612.20 feet; thence S 35006'091W, 133.84 feet; thence S 23036'15''w,
121.36 feet; thence S 11042'48''w, 409.92 feet; thence S l5039'54'W,
41.05 feet to a point designated Point "A" for reference purposes;
thence continuing S l5039'541W, 37.24 feet to a point designated
Point "B" for reference }?urvoses; thence continuing S l50.39'54'W,
102.58 feet; thence S 47 08 54''w, 33.07 feet; thence N 890l0'18'W,

2. That said flowage easements be and the same are hereby
abandoned, subject to and in conformity with said Resolution of
Intention No. 883. Reference to said Resolution of Intention is
hereby made for further particulars.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution, and shall cause a.certified copy thereof, attested by
the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of Kern County, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 18th day of December, 1972, by the
following vote:
