A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD APPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL
IMPACT REPORT FOR THE OFFICE AND RETAIL
COMPLEX ON THE BLOCK BOUNDED BY TRUXTUN
AVENUE, CHESTER AVENUE, 17TH STREET, AND
K .STREET.
WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report has been
prepared under the direction of Harold Bergen, City Manager and
Community Development Director of the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield
has received that Environmental Impact Report and has found that
the proposed complex is in conformity with the General Plan for
the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the proposed
project is in conformity with the adopted Redevelopment Plan for
the Downtown Bakersfield Redevelopment Project; and
WHEREAS, additional comments received by the general
public have been given consideration.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Council of
the City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. The City Council hereby approves and adopts the
Environmental Impact Report.
2. The City Council, after considering all negative
and positive environmental impac~ finds that the subject office
and retail complex would not have a significant adverse impact
on the environment.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 30th day of October, 1972,
by the following vote:
