RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF A
PORTION OF INYO STREET IN THE.CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of September, 1972, the Council
of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the"Street
Vacation Act of 1941," being Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, passed and adopted its
Resolution of Intention No. 881, declaring its intention to order
the vacation of a portion of Inyo Street, City of Bakersfield,
California; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation,
which said hearing was held on the 30th day of October, 1972, after
notices were duly posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly considering the matter,
does hereby find and resolve as follows:
1. That that portion of Inyo Street situate in the City
of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, more particularly
described as follows, is unnecessary for present or prospective public
street purposes:
A parcel of land situate in the City of Bakersfield,
County of Kern, State of California, being a portion
of Section 29, T.29 S., R.28 E., M.D.B.& M. and
more particularly described as follows:
All that portion of Inyo Street of 80.00 feet in
width between Block 194 and Block 195 and between
the south right-of-way line of East Truxtun Avenue,
formerly Central Avenue and the north right-of-way
line of Dolores Street, as said blocks and streets
are shown on a Map of Kern in Book 1 of Maps at page 53
filed in the Office of the Recorder of Kern County,
California, April 10, 1893.
Containing .18 acres, more or less.
Reserving all of above-described Inyo Street for
public utility easement.
2. That said portion of Inyo Street be and the same is
hereby closed up, vacated and abandoned for public street purposes
subject to and in conformity with said Resolution of Intention
No. 881. Reference to said Resolution of Intention is hereby
made for further particulars.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution and shall cause a certified copy hereof, attested by
the Clerk under the seal of the City to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 30th day of October, 1972, by the
following vote:
