A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF A
PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT IN TRACT NO. 2268
BETWEEN LOTS 21 AND 22°
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of September, 1972, the Council
of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the
"Public Service Easements Vacation Law," being Sections 50430 to
50445, inclusive, of the Government Code of the State of California,
passed and adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 880, declaring
its intention to order the vacation of public service easements,
also referred to herein as public utilities easements, in Tract
No. 2268 between Lots 21 and 22, situate within the City of
Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting-to said proposed vacation,
which said hearing was held on the 30th day of October, 1972, after
notices were duly published and posted as required by law, and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly considering the matter,
does hereby find and resolve as follows:
1. That said public service easements also referred to
herein as public utilities easements, hereinafter described, are
unnecessary for present or prospective public use:
A parcel of land situate in the City of Bakersfield,
County of Kern, State of California, being a portion
of Section 18, T. 30 S., R. 28 E., M.D.B.& M. and
more particularly described as follows:
All of that pedestrian walkway of 10.00 feet in width,
between Lots 21 and 22 of Tract No. 2268 as said
Tract No. 2268 is shown on a map recorded in Book
11 of Maps, Page 43 in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of Kern on the 4th day of
February, 1960.
Reserving all of said pedestrian walkway for Public
Utility Easement purposes.
2. That said public service easements be and the same
are hereby vacated and abandoned for public service easement pur-
poses, subject to and in conformity with said Resolution of Intention
No. 880. Reference to said Resolution of Intention is hereby made
for further particulars.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution, and shall cause a certified copy thereof, attested by
the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of Kern County, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 30th day of October, 1972, by the
following vote:
