A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A PRELIMINARY WASTE-
WATER SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH ANHEUSER-
BUSCH, INCORPORATED, ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY.
WHEREAS, Anheuser-Busch plans to acquire a site for a
yeast plant in the City and will require the availability of a
sewer system and wastewater treatment facilities which can handle
large volumes of wastewater; and
WHEREAS, City desires to enter into a contract with
Anheuser-Busch to furnish said system and facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Council of
the City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. The Preliminary Wastewater Service Agreement
between the City and Anheuser-Busch, Incorporated is approved.
2. The Mayor, Donald M. Hart, is authorized and directed
to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of
Bakersfield.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 2d day of October, 1972,
by the following vote:
