A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF
PUBLIC UTILITIES EASEMENTS IN LOT 46 OF
TRACT 2783 AND LOT 7 OF TRACT 2957,
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of August, 1972, the Council of
the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Public
Service Easements Vacation Law," being Sections 50430 to 50445,
inclusive, of the Government Code of the State of California, passed
and adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 877, declaring its
intention to order the vacation of public service easements, also ~'
referred to herein as public utilities easements, situated in the
City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California, and being
in Lot 46 of Tract 2783 and in Lot 7 of Tract 2957, City of Bakers-
field, County of Kern, State of California; and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation,
which said hearing was held on the 18th day of September, 1972,
after notices were duly published and posted as required by law, and
WHEREAS, this Council, after duly considering the matter,
does hereby find and resolve as follows:
1. That said public service easements also referred to
herein as public utilities easements, hereinafter described, are
unnecessary for present or prospective public use:
PARCEL 1
All of the 5 foot public utilities easement along the south line
of Lot 7 of Tract 2957, except the 5 foot public utilities ease-
ment along the west line of Lot 7 and the 5 foot public utilities
easement along the east line of Lot 7 of Tract 2957 as said tract
is shown on a map recorded in Book 14 of maps, page 132, in the
Office of the County Recorder of the County of Kern on June 18,
1965.
PARCEL 2
The west 60 feet of the 5 foot public utilities easement along the
south line of Lot 46 of Tract 2783 as said tract is shown on a
map recorded in Book 13 of maps, page 131, in the office of the
County Recorder of the County of Kern on March 7, 1963.
2. That said public service easemenm be and the same are
hereby vacated and abandoned for public service easement purposes,
subject to and in conformity with the reservation of the easements
contained in and contemplated by said Resolution of Intention No.
877. Reference tosaid Resolution of Intention is hereby made for
further particulars.
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution, and shall cause a certified copy thereof, attested by
the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of Kern County, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 18th day of September, 1972, by the
following vote:
