RESOLUTION NO. 52-72
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR GRANT TO ACQUIRE
AND/OR DEVELOP LAND FOR OPEN-SPACE PURPOSES
NO. OS-CA-09-16-1028(G) BY AND BETWEEN CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD AND THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
1. The pending proposed Contract for Grant to Acquire
And/Or Develop Land For Open-Space Purposes No. OS-CA-09-16-1028(G)
is hereby in all respects approved.
2. The City Manager of the City of Bakersfield is hereby
authorized and directed to execute Contract No. OS-CA-09-16-1028(G)
in two (2) counterparts on behalf of the City of Bakersfield and the
City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to impress and attest
the official seal of the Public Body on each such counterpart and
to forward such counterparts to the Department of Housing and Urban
Development, for execution on behalf of the Government together with
such other documents relative to the approval and execution of such
counterparts as may be required by the Government.
3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the llth day of September, 1972, by the
following vote:
