A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING THE DESIGNATION
OF DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA.
WHEREAS, the City Council on December 26, 1967, by
Resolution No. 103-67 designated a survey area in Downtown
Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires that the area be amended
to increase the size of the area to the area hereinafter described
and that such amended area be studied to determine if a redevelop-
ment project within this amended area is feasible; and
WHEREAS, amended redevelopment projects might be initiated
within this amended area should it be found that such projects are
feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED'BY'THE CITY COUNCIL AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council hereby amends the Downtown Redevelop-
merit Survey Area by designating as the Downtown Redevelopment
Survey Area that area shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit
'~" and incorporated herein.
2. The City Council hereby finds that the said designated
amended area requires study to determine if redevelopment projects
within the area are feasible.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of April, 1972, by the following
vote:
