A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 54-71 RELATIVE TO 235 and 236 PROJECTS
IN URBAN BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, some confusion has existed relative to
Resolution No. 54-71 concerning public hearings to be held to
determine the impact of 235 and 236 projects On the community, and
WHEREAS, it was never intended that the City hold such
hearings but that HUD was requested to hold such hearings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
Resolution No. 54-71 is amended in Section 1 of the
Resolution to read:
1. The Department of Housing and Urban Development be
requested to hold public hearings on each project in the Bakersfield
area to determine the impact of such projects on the local coum~unity.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 6th day of March , 1972,
