RESOLUTION NO. 88-71
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENTS
OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED IN THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD UPON WHICH DANGEROUS
BUILDINGS HAVE BEEN DEMOLISHED AND
REMOVED.
WHEREAS, the following properties were determined to have
violated Chapter 3 of the Dangerous Building Code, Volume IV of the
Uniform Building Code, and
WHEREAS, notices and orders of Justus A. Olsson, Building
Director of the City of Bakersfield, as provided for in Chapter 4
of the Dangerous Building Code, Volume IV of the Uniform Building
Code, were mailed to the record owner of the aforementioned ,property,
and
WHEREAS, the buildingp in question are duly posted as
provided in Chapter 4 of the Dangerous Building Code, Volume IV
of the Uniform Building Code, and
WHEREAS, the demolition of the buildingpwas paid out of
the Repair and Demolition Fund as provided for by Chapter 8 of the
Dangerous Building Code, Volume IV of the Uniform Building Code,
and
WHEREAS, this assessment proceeding was duly noticed and
a hearing held December 13, 1971, in the Council Chambers of the
City of Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Bakersfield confirms the assessment of the property
listed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by this
reference herein and direcffithat the listed amounts be recorded
upon the assessment roll thereby constituting a lien against the
properties.
