A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD ESTABLISHING AN ADMINISTRATIVE
CHARGE OF TEN DOLLARS FOR AD~FiNISTRATIVE
COSTS OF SETTING UP AND ~AINTAINING NON-
RESIDENT SEWER RENTAL AGREEENTS.
WHEREAS, from time to time agreements are entered into
to provide sewer service to nonresidents of the City where lines are
available to such service, and
WHEREAS, the administrative costs of preparing agreements,
entering into agreements and maintaining records relative to agree-
ments is not reflected in sewer rental charges.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council 0f the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That a service charge of Ten Dollars ($10.00) is to
be charged for any agreement other than a renewal agreement for
nonresident sewer service where such agreements are required.
2. That such service charge is to be paid by the person
who enters into the agreement and for whom the sewer service is
provided, or his agent.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 12th day of April, 1971, by the
following vote:
