A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 22-69 PERTAINING TO THE PUBLIC
INTEREST, CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD FOR CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE
OF PUBLIC SEWER FACILITIES ON SECTION 33, TOWN-
SHIP 30 SOUTH, RANGE 27 EAST M.D.B.& M. KERN
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of February, 1969, the City
Council of the City of Bakersfield passed its Resolution No. 22-69
and on March 17, 1969, passed its Resolution No. 30-69; and
WHEREAS, said resolutions set forth the public interest,
convenience and necessity of the City of Bakersfield for construction
of certain sewer facilities and the acquisition of certain lands; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 30-69 excepted the south six hundred
and sixty feet of the parcel to be condemned; and
WHEREAS, the south six hundred and sixty feet is deemed
necessary to the improvement to be constructed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield as follows:
1. The property to be acquired in fee is described as
follows:
"Section 33, Township 30 South, Range 27 East,
M.D.B.& M., Kern County, California excepting
therefrom all minerals below five hundred feet
beneath the surface."
2. Resolution No. 30-69 is hereby repealed..
3. In all other respects Resolution No. 22-69 is hereby
incorporated in this Resolution by reference as if fully set forth
herein.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adoptedby the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day of January, 1971, by
the following vote:
