A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD UPON WHICH A DANGEROUS
BUILDING HAS BEEN DEMOLISHED AND REMOVED.
WHEREAS, the following property located at 924 "M"
Street was determined to have violated Chapter 3 of the Dangerous
Building Code, Volume IV of the Uniform Building Code, and
WHEREAS, notices and orders of Justus A. Olsson, Building
Director of the City of Bakersfield, as provided for in Chapter 4
of the Dangerous Building Code, Volume IV of the Uniform Building
Code were mailed to the record owner of the aforementioned property,
and
WHEREAS, the building in question was duly posted as
provided in Chapter 4 of the Dangerous Building Code, Volume IV
of the Uniform Building Code, and
WHEREAS, the demolition of the building was paid out of
the Repair and Demolition Fund as provided for by Chapter 8 of the
Dangerous Building Code, Volume IV of the Uniform Building Code,
and
WHEREAS, this assessment proceeding was duly noticed and
a hearing held'January 11, 197~1, in the Council Chambers of the
City of Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Bakersfield confirms the assessment of the following
property:

and, direct that the above-listed amount be recorded upon the
assessment roll thereby constituting a lien against the property.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the llth day of January, 1971, by the
following vote:
