A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD EXPRESSING THEIR APPRECIATION
FOR THE SERVICES RENDERED TO METROPOLITAN
BAKERSFIELD BY THE "COMPLETE COUNT COMMITTEE."
WHEREAS, the Census Bureau requested that each community
form and appoint a "Complete Count Committee" to assist in this
nation's efforts to obtain an accurate census count for the year
1980; and
WHEREAS, the Council asked for community volunteers to
step forward and give of their time, talent'and effort to support
this national goal; and
WHEREAS, you unselfishly stepped forward in response to
this request and volunteered your services to assist this community
in obtaining the maximum benefits of a complete count; and
WHEREAS, the 1980 census effort in this community resulted
in the remarkable return of census data information when compared to
other communities in this state and nation; and
WHEREAS, these remarkable results bare a direct relation-
ship to the Complete Count Committees' efforts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakers~ield that we express our profound appreciation to the
following members of the Complete Count Committee for the services
rendered to this community.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
