A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCILOF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD COMMENDING BURR. BALDWIN AS A
PLANNING COMMISSIONER OF;THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, Burr Baldwin has been a member of the Planning
Commission of the City of Bakersfield since January, 1969; and
WHEREAS, during the eleven years of dedicated service to
the City of Bakersfield, Burr Baldwin has served as both Vice-
chairman and Chairman of the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, during the past eleven years the City of
Bakersfield has experienced a period of its greatest growth; and
WHEREAS, Burr Baldwin's loyal and conscientious leader-
ship on the Planning Commission and his unselfish devotion of his
personal time to the duties entrusted to the Planning Commission
has been a valuable asset to the City of Bakersfield during this
period of unsurpassed growth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield
wishes to go on record commending Burr Baldwin for his eleven
years of leadership, service and dedication to the Planning Commis-
sion and recognizing that his absence from the Planning Commission
will be a loss to the City of Bakersfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that Burr Baldwin is hereby commended for the
service contributed to the City of Bakersfield during the eleven
years he served as a member of the Planning Commission of the City
of Bakersfield.
