A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS AS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
FOR THE MOUNT VERNON-PANORAMA SANITATION
DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, Parcel Map #5551 and Tract #3978 will be annexed
into the Mount Vernon-Panorama Sanitation District which includes
unincorporated territory; and
WHEREAS, there is no sanitation district entirely within
the City of Bakersfield to service said Parcel Map #5551 and Tract
#3978; and
WHEREAS, the population of the portion of the sanitation
district in the City of Bakersfield is not more than one half of
the population of the whole district; and
WHEREAS, Section 4730 of the Health and Safety Code
authorizes the City Council to designate the Board of Supervisors
as the.District Board of Directors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Bakersfield as follows:
The City Council of the City of Bakersfield hereby
designates the Board of Supervisors of the County of Kern as the
Board of Directors for the Mount Vernon-Panorama Sanitation District
for' the property encompassed by Parcel Map #5551 and Tract #3978.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 29th day of August, 1979, by the following
