A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD APPROVING A SUPPLEMENT TO THE
COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE RECLAMATION
BOARD OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA CONCERNING
FLOODWAY DESIGNATION WITHIN THE CITY.
WHEREAS, it appears both reasonable and necessary and in
the best interests of the City for the reasons recited therein;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. The proposed Supplemental Agreement Between the
Reclamation Board of the State of California and the City of
Bakersfield Concerning Floodway Designation in the City of
Bakersfield, in the form on file with the City Clerk, is hereby
approved and the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed, respectively, to execute and attest the same on
behalf of the City.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 6th day of December, 1978, by the follow-
ing vote:
