HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 96-78RESOLUTION NO. 96-78 RESOLUTION ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION NO. 258 (MANOR NO. 2) TO THE GREATER BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION OF GRADE DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield did, on the 26th day of July, 1978, .pass its Resolution of Intention No. 78-78, to include certain property designated as Annexation No. 258 (MANOR NO. 2) within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, setting the time and place for hearing objections to the inclusion of said territory within said District; and WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly and legally published once a week for two weeks, the first publication thereof being at least twenty days prior to the date of the hearing as pro- vided by law; and WHEREAS, Wednesday, the 6th day of September, 1978, at the hour of 8 P. M., was set as the time for hearing objections to the inclusion of said territory within said District; and WHEREAS, no objection has been filed or presented to said Council to the inclusion of said territory or any part thereof within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, and the Council further finds that all of said territory will be benefited by its inclusion within said District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND THE COUNCIL DOES HEREBY FIND: That no objection to the inclusion of said territory or any part thereof within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District, has been filed or presented to this Council. That said territory and every part thereof be, and the -same is hereby annexed to and included within the said Greater Bakersfield Separation of Grade District upon completion of annexa- tion of said territory to the City of Bakersfield, which said terri- tory is described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part of this resolution. o0o.
