RESOLUTION EXTENDING TIME WITHIN WHICH TO PAY
CANCELLATION FEE UNDER WILLIAMSON ACT--COSTERISAN
BROTHERS.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 27-78, adopted by the Council
on March 15, 1978, tentative approval was given for cancellation of
the Land Use Contract between the Costerisan Brothers and the County
of Kern; and
WHEREAS, under said resolution, September 15, 1978, was
established as the deadline within which to pay said fee; and
WHEREAS, the Costerisan Brothers have made written request
for an extension of time within which to pay said fee to and includ-
ing December 15, 1978.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED by the Council
of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
1.. The cancellation fee shall be paid in full not later
than December 15, 1978, and if not deposited with the County
Treasurer within that time, the approval of cancellation shall lapse,
and Resolution No. 27-78-shall thereafter have no further force or
effect. Said cancellation shall not be effective until such time
as the said cancellation fee has been paid in full.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 23d day of August, 1978, by the following
vote:
