A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROVING THE'PROPOSAL AS SET
FORTH IN THE RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE OLCESE WATER DISTRICT
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE
ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS IN
PROPOSED ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 OF
OLCESE WATER DISTRICT.
~ WHEREAS, Olcese Water District, in accordance with the
provisions of Section 10104 of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California has submitted to the City Council a map
of its proposed Assessment District No. 1 and a proposed Resolution
of Intention to form said Assessment District No. 1; and
WHEREAS, said Assessment District No. 1 lies partially
within the corporate limits of the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of said Section 10104 of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, said
District must secure the approval'of the legislative body of the
City of Bakersfield with respect to the extent of the territory
to be included within the proposed Assessment District and with
respect to the proposed Resolution of Intention before said
Resolution of Intention is adopted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined the map of said
proposed Assessment District No. 1 and has examined the proposed
Resolution of Intention and finds that there is no reason for
withholding its approval with respect thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. As required by Section 10104 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council, as
the legislative body of the City of Bakersfield, hereby approves
said proposed Resolution of Intention and the map indicating the
extent of the territory to be included within said Assessment
District No. 1 of Olcese Water District.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Councilof the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 15th day of December ,
