RESOLUTION APPOINTING ENGINEER OF WORK

RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Bakers-
field, State of California, that:
WHEREAS, this Council has determined to undertake pro-
ceedings pursuant to Special Assessment and Assessment Bond Acts
for the acquisition and financing of a public improvement project
in the unincorporated area of the County of Kern; and
WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be
served by appointing and employing an Engineer of Work for the
preparation and conducting of said proceedings and work in connec-
tion with said improvements.
WHEREAS, developer will provide engineering services for
the preparation of the assessment report for review and approval
of Engineer of Work.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Director of Public Works of the City of
Bakersf ield be, and he is hereby appointed as the Engineer of
Work, and employed to do and perform all engineering work neces-
sary in and for said proceedings for City of Bakersfield Assess-
ment District No. 82-1.
2. The Engineer of Work is authorized to receive, re-
view and approve assessment engineering services being provided
for Assessment District No. 82-1 under the agreement of Ed Wilson
of Wilson & Associates with Tenneco Realty Development~ Inc., and
the costs of such services paid by Tenneco are included as part of
the eligible costs in the acquisition proceedings of said Assess-
ment District No. 82-1 of the City of Bakersfield.
3. That all engineering fees and all other charges be
assessed as incidental expenses of said proceedings.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 4%h
