A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ACCEPTING EQUIPMENT, GRANT DEED
AND EASEMENTS RELATIVE TO FAIRHAVEN WATER
DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield and the Fairhaven
Industrial Fire Protection District entered into Agreement No.
8036 for the acquisition, construction, operation and financing
of the Fairhaven Water Distribution System; and
WHEREAS, Fairhaven Industrial Fire Protection District
acquired easements for the construction of water mains, a grant
deed for the water storage and pumping facilities and other water
related equipment; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield has accepted the
completed water facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council, on behalf of the City
of Bakersfield, hereby accepts from Fairhaven Industrial Fire
Protection District the following:
1. Equipment listed upon Bill of Sale (attached);
2. Grant Deed for real property containing water
storage facilities and commonly known as 3300 Burr Street (attached);
3. Easements for construction, operation, maintenance,
repair and replacement of water mains and related facilities
(attached);
the City Council hereby consents to the recordation of the above
Grant Deed and Easements and authorizes the City Clerk to have
the same duly recorded.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of July, 1982, by the
following vote: .
