HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 9-82RESOLUTION NO. 9-82 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD APPROVING THE AMENDED CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODES OF THE ATTORNEY'S OFFICE, AUDITORIUM-RECREATION COMMITTEE, AUDITORIUM- RECREATION DEPARTMENT, BOARD OF BUILDING AND HOUSING APPEALS, BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT, BUSINESS TAX APPEALS BOARD, CITY MANAGER'S DEPARTMENT, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT, FINANCE DEPARTMENT, FIRE DEPARTMENT, FIRE DEPARTMENT CIVIL SERVICE BOARD, FIRE DEPARTMENT PENSION BOARD, MISCELLANEOUS DEPARTMENTS CIVIL SERVICE BOARD, POLICE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD, POLICE DEPARTMENT, PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, REDEVELOP- MENT AGENCY, RETIREMENT APPEALS BOARD AND THE WATER DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. WHEREAS, the following departments of the City of Bakersfield have presented amended Conflict of Interest Codes for the approval of the Council: Attorney's Office, Auditorium- Recreation Committee, Auditorium-Recreation Department, Board of Building and Housing Appeals, Board of Zoning Adjustment, Business Tax Appeals Board, City Manager's Department, Community Development Department, Development Services Department, Finance Department, Fire Department, Fire Department Civil Service Board, Fire Depart- ment Pension Board, Miscellaneous Departments Civil Service Board, Police Civil Service Board, Police Department, Public Works Department, Redevelopment Agency, Retirement Appeals Board and the Water Department; and WHEREAS, this Council is the Code reviewing body for said departments; and WHEREAS, the proposed amendments have been reviewed and considered by said departments at a duly noticed public hearing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: 1. That the proposed Conflict of Interest Codes attached hereto are approved for adoption by the respective departments of the City of Bakersfield. 2. That all designated employees as provided in the attached Conflict of Interest Codes are hereby instructed to file statements of economic interest according to the procedure set forth in Subsection (B) of Section 4 of Section 18730 of Title 2 of Division 6 of the California Administrative Code. o0o.
