RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD AGREEING, UPON EXECUTION 0F A
MUTUALLY ACCEPTABLE CONTRACT, TO ACCEPT A
FEDERAL GRANT FOR PLANNING EFFICIENT
UTILIZATION OF TWENTY-EIGHT HUNDRED ACRE
RECHARGE SITE.
WHEREAS, the California Water Resources Control Board
proposes to make available to the City of Bakersfield a federal
Environmental Protection Agency Project 208 planning grant in the
amount of one hundred thousand dollars for-use in planning for the
more efficient utilization of the City's 2800 acre recharge site,
and, in connection with such proposal, has requested that the
City agree to accept such a grant upon execution of a mutually
acceptable contract therefor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Bakersfield
agrees to accept the aforesaid grant upon execution of a mutually
acceptable contract between the City of Bakersfield and the
California Water Resources Control Board.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of December, 1980, by
