A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD MAKING SPECIFIED FINDINGS AND
TAKING SPECIFIED ACTION CONCERNING SALE OF
SUMP SITE TO GREATER BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION
OF GRADE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, in adopting Resolution 66-80 the Council found
that the public interest and convenience require the sale of
described real property (sump site) to the Greater Bakersfield
Separation of Grade District at the appraised value of FIFTY
THOUSAND FIVE-HUNDRED and SEVENTY-EIGHT DOLLARS ($50,578.00),
and set this meeting as the time final action would be taken on the
sale, following the hearing of any protests to the sale; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 66-80 has been published
and posted as provided in Section 37423 of the California Government
Code and no protests to the sale have been received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. That it hereby takes final action approving the sale
of that real property (sump site), particularly described in
Resolution No. 66-80, to the Greater Bakersfield Separation of
Grade District for the appraised value of FIFTY THOUSAND FIVE
HUNDRED and SEVENTY-EIGHT DOLLARS ($50,578.00).
2. That the Public Works Director is hereby authorized
and directed to take such action as may be appropriate to consumate
the sale, and that the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign any docu-
ments appropriate for such purpose.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 19th day of November, 1980,
by the following vote:
