A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD FIXING TIME FOR HEARING PROTESTS
TO SALE OF SUMP SITE TO THE GREATER BAKERSFIELD
SEPARATION OF GRADE DISTRICT, PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF HEARING, FIXING TIME
FINAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN, AND DESCRIBING
SAID PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the public interest
and convenience require the sale of the real property described
herein below to the GREATER BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION OF GRADE
DISTRICT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that it intends to sell the real property
described herein below to the GREATER BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION OF
GRADE DISTRICT for the appraised value of FIFTY THOUSAND FIVE-
HUNDRED and SEVENTY-EIGHT DOLLARS ($50,578).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, any person interested
may protest such Sale at any time prior to final action of the
Council at its meeting of November 19, 1980, which meeting is
hereby set as the time final action will be taken.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall be
published and posted as provided in Section 37423 of the California
Government Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the property to be sold is
accurately described as follows:
A parcel of land situated in the City of
Bakersfield, County of Kern, State of California,
being a portion of Section 19, Township 29, South,
Range 28 East, M.D.B.& M., more particularly
described as follows:
Lots 2 through 6 inclusive, and; that portion of
Lots 11, 12, 13 and 14 lying southerly of the
westerly extension of the north line of Lot 6; all
in Block 619, City of Bakersfield, County of
Kern, State of California, according to that
certain map dated March 10, 1904, entitled
"Sales Map of the Kern County Land Company
showing subdivisions of its additions to the
City of Bakersfield, Kern County, California,"
which said map was filed April 19, 1904 in the
Office of the Kern County Recorder, and;
That portionof a certain alley running through said
Block 619 vacated by City of Bakersfield by Resolu-
tion No. 188, and lying southerly of the westerly
extension of the north line of Lot 6 of said Block
619, and;
The westerly 11.25 feet of "K" Street vacated by
and referred to in "K Street Parcel 1" of City of
Bakersfield Resolution No. 38-77, recorded June 8,
1977, in Official Records Book 5032, at page 1956
in the Office of the Kern County Recorder, and
lying southerly of the easterly extension of the
north line of Lot 6 of said Block 619, and;
That triangular portion of 32nd Street lying adjacent
to the south line of said Block 619, vacated by and
referred to in "32nd Street Parcel 1" of said
Resolution No. 38-77.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 29th day of October, 1980, by
the following vote:
