A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE ~ITY OF
BAKERSFIELD COMMENDING AND SUPPORTING AIRPORT
BUS OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, Airport Bus of Bakersfield has been meeting
the needs of Bakersfield residents by providing dependable,
efficient and economical transportation to the Los Angeles area;
and
WHEREAS, the operation of Airport Bus of Bakersfield
has demonstrated an understanding of the needs of the residents-
of the City of Bakersfield and has been responsive to those
needs; and
WHEREAS, Airport Bus of Bakersfield has provided dependable
service to Los Angeles International Airport during a period of
less than adequate service by the airlines; and
WHEREAS, the past performance of Airport Bus of Bakers-
field is indicative that the transportation provided can adequately
fulfill a need of the Bakersfield community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that it commends and supports Airport Bus of
Bakersfield for developing and maintaining dependable, efficient
and economical transportation necessary to serve the residents of
the City of Bakersfield.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 23d day of September, 1981, by
the following vote:
