A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROVING ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT
WITH THE STATE PERSONNEL BOARD FOR THE
PERFORMANCE OF TECHNICAL SERVICES AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE
CONTRACT.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
1. That Philip Kelmar, City Manager, or Richard Russell,
Assistant City Manager, is hereby authorized to enter into and
sign an Agreement with the State of California, California State
Personnel Board, Cooperative Personnel Services, for the purpose
of performing examining services for the City of Bakersfield for
a period of three (3) years.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 29th day of July, 1981, by the
following vote:
