A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1981-82.
WHEREAS, Section 7900 of the Government Code, and
added by Chapter 220 of the Statutes of 1980, Division 9,
provides for the effective and efficient implementation of
Article%IIIB of the California Constitution; and
WHEREAS, Section 7901 through 7913 of Chapter 1205,
provides that each year the governing body of each local
jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its appropria-
tions limit at a regularly scheduled meeting and 15 days prior
to such meeting documentation used in the determination of
the appropriations limit shall be available to the public; and
WHEREAS, any judicial action or challenge for the
1981-82 fiscal year shall be commenced within 45 days of the
effective date of this ResOlution.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield does hereby set the appropriations limit for
fiscal year 1981-82 as $32,732,614. Documentation used in the
determination of the appropriations limit is available to the
public at the Finance Department, City Hall.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resblution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st day of July
1981, by the following vote:
