A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD INCREASING PLANNING DEPARTMENT
PROCESSING FEES.
WHEREAS, the 'increased costs of City services have had
an impact on the operations of City government since the adoption
of Proposition 13; and
WHEREAS, fees associated with real property developments
in the City of Bakersfield have not escalated with the increasing
costs of processing such developments by the Planning Department;
and
WHEREAS, Planning Department processing fees have not
been increased for a number of years to such an extent that the
Planning Department processing costs now far exceed fees charged;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on January 28, 1981,
to consider the increase in Planning Department fees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that the City of Bakersfield hereby adopts the
following fee schedule for applications to be processed through
the Planning Department:
