ACTION TAKEN
PUBLIC STATEMENTS
Marvin Dean spoke regarding the Southeast PAC
10% request and asked that the minutes of
February 26, Item 4.a. reflect agreement to the
motion on his own behalf.
Art Powell spoke regarding the 10% Set Aside for
Southeast area.
Stephanie Campbell spoke regarding the
amended Replacement Housing Plan and asked
the wording on page 4. No. 6...The Agency shall
encourage.., be changed to include stronger
language such as ..the Agency will facilitate...
CONSENT CALENDAR
a. Minutes of the regular meeting of February 12,
and Special Meeting of February 26, 2001.
b. Payments from February 2, to March 1, 2001 in
the amount of $13,068.05.
Motion by Arriola, seconded by Raphael to
adopt Consent Calendar Items a. and b.

Oral report regarding projects in the Southeast
Bakersfield Project Area.
Economic Development Director Kunz gave a
computer presentation and answered questions.
Davenport requested staff provide a copy of
the presentation and staff notes to the
Agency.
Anthony requested staff give the presentation
to PAC members.

Resolution regarding the use of Housing Set
Aside Monies outside the Downtown
Redevelopment Project Area.
Assistant City Manager Christensen gave a brief
update.
Motion by Raphael, seconded by Schroeder, to
adopt the resolution.
Resolution transmitting the ordinance amending
the Southeast Bakersfield Redevelopment Plan
and the report on the amendment to the City
Council.
Assistant City Manager Christensen gave a brief
update.
Motion by Davenport, seconded by Arriola to
adopt the resolution forwarding the
amendment to the Southeast Bakersfield
Redevelopment Plan which adds a multi-use
stadium as a possible project for Agency
assistance.

Motion by Davenport, seconded by Schroeder
to adopt the resolution.
