A RESOLUTION FIXING THE SALARY OF
AN OFFICER OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.

BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the' City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1.
1. The following named officer of the City of Bakersfield shall
be placed in the step in the salary schedule to which his position
is allocated by the provisions of subdivision (a) of Section 8 of
Ordinance No. 879, New Series, as amended, as indicated below; said
officer. shall be paid the monthly salary indicated belo~ for
services performed for the City of Bakersfield on and after the
effective date hereof; said ~e~tcer shall advance to the' next step
on the date indicated, as set forth below, upon approval of the'
City Council as provided in Section 7 (b) of said Ordinance No. 879

2. The City Council of the City of Bakersfield hereby finds
and determines that its action taken by the passage of this resolution
is justified by the nature of the position held by the aforementioned
officer and the capabilities and experience of such officer, and is
in conformity with the objects and purposes of the basic salary plan.
3. This .resolution is passed and adopted pursuant to the
provisions of Sec.ti0n 8 (e) of Ordinance LNO. 879, New Series, as

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 23rd day'of August, 195~, by the
following vote:
