· A RESOLUTION E~TABLISHING PARKING
METER ZONES ON .OFF-STREET PAREING
LOTS IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,.
BE IT RESOLVED by the COuncil o'f the City of Bakersfield,
as follows: .'. . -.
1, . That pursuant to the 'authority contained in Section 2
of Ordinance No. 9~4, New .Series·, .of the City of Bakersfield, this
Council hereby finds and determines that the orderly flow of vehicu-
lar traffic, the most efficient use of available parking space and
the enforcement of traffic regulations will be facilitated bY ~the
establishment of off-street parking'.meter zones on the following
described parcels of land in the City of Bakersfield, and said
parking meter zones are hereby established on· said parcels:
PARCEL NO ~. 1.
as per Map recorded NOvember 25, , in BoOk 1,.
pages 13 and 14 of Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of Kern County, California.
PARCEL No. 12.
· Lots 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22' and 23 of Block 92, Kern,
as said Lots and Block are shown on Map of Bakersfield,
Kern'County, California, showing East Bakersfield,
formerly Sumner, recorded· january 12, 1889, in Map BoOk l,
at pages 15 and 16, Records of Kern County, California.
2. The establishment of parking zones on the parcels desig-
nated in paragraph I hereof, and the operation Of 'the provisions of
· Ordinance No. 944, New Series, in such zones, 'shall be effective
· upon the completion of installation of parking me'te'rs in 'such zones
as prescribed by subdivision (a)' of Section 3 of said Ordinance,
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was p.assed
and adopted by the Council of the' city of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 16th day' of November, 1953, by the
