WHEREAS,~ on the 5th day of October, 1953, the Council of
the City.of Bakersfield, pursuant to the 'provisions of 'the' "Street'
Vacation Act of i941," being Division 9 o~ the Streets and· High-'
ways ~Code of the State of CalifOrnia, passed and. adopted its. Reso-
'lution of'~Intention No. VO6~ declaring its in~ention to~order the.
vacat*iOl~i~'~f· a portion of an alley in Block No. B95 in the City of
Bakersfield, California, and, -'.
'V~4EREAS, said Council did fix a time ~and~plaoe. for hearing
all persons interested in.or objecting .to Said :proposed vacation,
which~ said.hearing ~vas held on the .Snd' day of Noven~ber, '1'955, after
notices' were duly posted as required by la~-, and~
. 5~EAS, this Council after duly consideringI the matter, does
· hereby find 'and resolve as follows:Z·
1.1 That the .following' described portion of said alley in
Block No~ ~95 in the City of B.akersfield,'~is unneOessarylfo~ present
or prospective public street purposes.: "~ "I" '
All of the 3~ foot alley extending easterly and' westerly
'through B16ck No. S95, except the easterly .ZO feet thereof;
as said block and alley are shown. on NaP of the City of
.,I Bakersfield, Kern County, California, recorded November ~5,
.'1898, in Nap Book l, at Pages l~ and l~, RecOrds 0f-Kern
County, California.
~. That said portion of Said alley. be'.and the same is hereby
clo'sed~ up, vacated and abandoned for ~Ublic street purposes, 'subject
