CORRECTING AN ERROR IN THE SCHEDULE STEP
AND THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN .OFFICERS, EM-.
PLOYEES OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, on the 24-th day of August, 1953, .Resolution No. 42-53
was duly passed and adopted fixing the salaries and reclassifying
certain officers and employees of the' City of Bakersfield, and
. WHEREAS, in said Resolution C."A. Chitwood .was erroneously
placed in Step 5, at a salary of $374, and C. v. Schertz monthly
salary was given as ~331, and

~iEREAS, it is the desire of the.. Council to correct said errors
and to place the above mentioned officers in their correct classifi--
cation and salary schedule.
NOW,. TEEFOE, I BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of 'the City of
Bakersfield that said portion of said Resolution shall be and is .. "-
hereby amended to read as follows:
