A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL. OF THE
CITY OF BAFGERSFIELD ORDERING 'iraliE VACA-
TION OF A PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT IN
BLOCK ll, TRACT N0. 1587, CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, on the 4th day of February, 1952, the Council
of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to Sections 50450 to 50445
inclusive of the Government Code of the State of California,~:
passed and adopted its ~dinance of intention No. 693, declaring
its intention to order the vacation of a public service easement
in the City of Bakersfield, California, and
V~TEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed
vacation~ which said hearing was held on the 25th day of February,
195~, after notices were duly posted and' published as required by
law, and'
; ~W~EREAS, no person appeared in opposition' to said pro-
.posed vacation, and this Council after .duly considering the matter,
does hereby find:
1. That the following described public service 'easement
is unnecessary for presentI'tr.prospective public use, to wit:
A parcel of land lO, feet in width by 140 feet in
length and bisected longitudinally. by the boundary
!:'~ line common to Lots 14 and 15 in..'Blodl~ ll in Tract
No. 138V. as said Lots 14 and 15 and said Block ll
are shoe and delineated on Map of said Tract No.
138V filed for ;Pecord in the office of the County
-'Recordep of Kern County, California, on Pages 104
· to 111 in Book 6 of MapS, on the 26th day of March,
- 1948.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that said Public Service Easement be
and the same is hereby closed up, vacated· and abandoned as comtem-
plated by said 0Pdinancle of Intention No. 693.
~ IT FURTHER RESOLVED-that the City Clerk ·shall cer. tify to the
:'.~assage of this Resolution, and :shall cause a .certified copy of
, l.'this Resolution, attested by the Clerk under the seal of the City,
· ~o be recorded in the office of the Count~ Recorder of ~he County
of. Kern, California.
I EREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City or Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 5Pd day of August, 1985, by the follow-
ing vote:
