ARESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, ORDERING THE VACATION OF
AN ALLEY IN BLOCk 193 IN THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
The Council of the City of Bakersfield, California, pursuant
to the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941," being Divi-
sion 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
does hereby resolve as follows:
1. That the public interest and convenience require, and
it is hereby ordered that an alley within said city described as:
All of that certain alley of 33 feet width,
16.5 feet on either side of the center lrine
.extending easterly and westerly through Block
193, in the City of Bakersfield, from the easterly
right of way line of Chester Avenue to the west-
erly right of way line of K Street, as said Block
193, said alley, said Chester Avenue and said K
Street are shown and delineated on that certain
map entitled, "Map of the City of Bakersfield Kern
County California", filed for record in the office
of the County Recorder of Kern County, California,
on the 25th day of November 1898, on pages 13 and
14, in Book i of Maps,
be and the same is hereby closed up, vacated and abandoned for public
street purposes, subject to and in conformity with Resolution of
Intention No. 698, adopted by the Council of said City on the 19th
day of January, 1953. Reference to said Resolution of Intention is
hereby made for further particulars.
2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Reso-
lution, and shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution, attested
by the Clerk under the seal of the City, to be recorded in the
office of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 9th day of February, 19~3, by the
following vote:
